Because of this I am forced to take police protection here in Mumbai. But, I don't seem to understand what is the issue when censor board has approved my film." He further adds, "I have kept the Muslim community's sentiment in mind while making of the film."
Now the latest news is that the community is stopping the screening of the film from various theatres in Rajasthan. "I just got a call from there saying the people are forcing the theatre to stop the screening of my film. It is complete harassment," says Amjad adding, "If at all they are ready to talk, I would like meet the representative of Mufti and Muslim community to discuss the issue. And, resolve it before it goes out of hand.
